Some Variant Descriptions are truncated #64

For some items with variant descriptions, the description is truncated: see DEEP 595, 596, 1190, 1191, 5098, 5099.

I suspect this is because data fields are currently limited to 200 characters -- we need those limits to be increased for all fields by a significant amount
