Roche just a few questions: Are the excel files to be generated automatically along with the pdf reports, or should there be a separate option for it? Should the excel files be in the exact same format as the reports, with text formatting and everything? Where applicable, should I insert formulas into cells instead of the plain values?
Add a seperate icon for exports to excel.
The excel report should follow the same format and layout as far as possible and I like your suggestion of inserting formulas to calculate totals - the would really make it more usable.
Export each of the reports to Excel. @izak what library for generating Excel spreadsheets do you recommend?
