Player / Guest counter #1146

Helen and I are on the demo stage on the dev app - currently we are in a meeting on the stage The counter only show me as logged in (we have both reloaded a couple of times to test the meeting room)

my screenshot shows us both present in the jitsi meeting window, but the dropdowm of the counter is only showing vicki. Screenshot from 2023-10-18 11-47-43

there are still discrepancies in the counter; on the live stage it is not always accurate, as in the above example, and just now i'm on one of the QMU stages with john & another person, but the counter doesn't show me. Peek 2024-08-28 11-43
