this is working, in that the right-click menu works, the voice settings tool opens. however, none of the settings actually change anything. there is only one voice, no matter what i choose, and adjusting the settings (variant, pitch, rate, volume) makes no difference at all. then, having saved this one voice, when i type text for the avatar to speak on stage, there is no voice.
now the changes are happening in the voice test, but when i save the voice and give the avatar text on stage, there's no voice. and the speech bubble is missing! also the text is not placed correctly, it's partly on top of the avatar:
adding videos to demonstrate the speech bubble problem:
the first video is from upstage.live, where the speech bubble appears & is correctly positioned. i've tried to also show how it moves to fit with the avatar when it's resized:

second video is where the speech bubble is missing & not placed correctly. it's showing differently from where it was in the screengrabs i posted yesterday, & it does move with the avatar but is still partially overlapping the frame.

great, this is looking much better  (there's still a bit of an issue with the speech bubble when it goes below the avatar, it's too much on the left; but i think we shouldn't lose time on it as there are other more important issues that need to be fixed).
the voice settings from the right-click menu of an avatar when it's on stage have disappeared ... we should see the same list of voice options as we do in the media edit interface of the Studio.
