"last login" not really working? #1275

in the player management interface we have a column for "last login", & it's possible to sort by this column. i'm doing this now as i noticed that there are a few players on upstage.live that don't have email addresses attached to them, & i'm trying to see if they are active accounts or not. so i sorted by "last login".

however, the oldest login date that is showing is five months ago, and the great majority of players have no last login date at all, even when i know they have logged in previously.

i'm guessing that the ones with no dates haven't logged in for more than 5 months, and that 5 months ago there was a change in the system which meant that it's only counting from then - is this correct?

i think it would also be more useful to have an actual date in both the last login and date registered columns, so that we can see exactly when people have registered and accessed UpStage, instead of the vaguer x months or days ago. but if changing this will cause there to be another restart and more players showing as never logged in, then don't change it.

image hi @helenvarley as you see, we can see an actual date as tooltip for both last login and register column. so can we need to change?

ah! i had not seen the tooltip - great! :+1:

for my other question: is it correct that the system was changed 5 months ago, so we don't see any last login dates that are older than 5 months? (there are registrations that are years ago) & the many players who have no last login dates must have not logged in in the last 5 months?

I think so
