testing drawing tool on touch-screen devices #982

there are a lot of issues with trying to draw on tablets and touch-screens. for example only being able to produce dots, not lines. we need to thoroughly test the drawing tools (and everything else) on touch-screen devices.

Please use the emulator tool we paid for, and show examples, etc.

i only have an old iPhone and the touch screen is pretty funky anyway ... wil try and find someone with a device i can use

The emulator runs in a browser. You can most likely run it on a library computer, I think.

Max Ott who came to the walkthrough & is part of the Meta team, is happy to test things on his ipad when we need :)

The emulator can test many devices and OSes. I don't know why people here won't give it a try. Testing on one device does absolutely no good. It may not work on any other device, for all kinds of reasons.

agreed @Gloria @.***> we did also discuss the emulator and putting it through it's paces arohamai (pardon me) I forgot that you had purchased it awhile ago - good to be reminded and will whip it through its paces on the new features

its so exciting all the new things that we get a bit lost in playing and imagining ...

sorry, i didn't mean that we should not use the emulator! - only making a note here that max has offered to help, so that we don't forget. whether he does it on the emulator or the tablet, it's good to have more people helping with the testing, & he is quite enthusiastic at the moment. @vickis can you coordinate with him & do some testing?
