Single click on tray icon will not open new message (it works only with double click enabled)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Disable option: Events --> Auto-open new messages
2. Disable option: Application --> Use "double-click" style (like ICQ) 
3. Close the contact list
4. Close all open chat windows
5. Get a new message
6. Click on the tray icon (single click) to read the new message

With a single click on the tray icon, the new message should be shown (message 
window should be opened)

the contact list will be opened and i have to select the user that send me the 
message in order to read the message

Additional information:
It works perfectly when the option "Use double click style" is enabled, but 
then you need a double click on the tray icon. It doesnt work with a single 
click.
