Hello, many thanks sorry for the divergences.. if you would prepare few screenshots for us and some description what to do we will publish it in the Xiaomi section..Many thanks..
Hi there,
Sorry it took me this long to respond, when I got your email it still wasn't working but I have now managed to wangle it.
So I went into Additional settings > Languages and input > Autofill service and switched it to Dashlane (making sure that Google is off).
Then I went to Additional settings > Privacy > Display over other apps and turned Dashlane on.
Also went to Additional settings > Accessibility > Dashlane and turned it on.
Also went to App settings > Installed apps > Downloaded > Dashlane and turned on floating windows. In this menu I also went to Other Permissions and turned on Start in Background and Display Pop-up window.
I also went to Battery and performance > Power saver: Choose apps > Dashlane and selected No Restrictions. I don't know how important that step is but I did it anyway. The MiUi keeps on turning it back to recommended which is a pain but it actually hasn't interfered too much so far.
Thanks for your help, it gave me some hints on where to go in my own settings.
Kind regards, Quinn

I have a Mi Pad 4 and this exact issue is messing with my password manager and usage tracker majorly but my settings are arranged totally differently to the way it is described in your article. I think I managed to fix it anyway (hopefully) but I thought I would let you know.
