eliminate 'print' statements, a library should use a logger. #1

Hi,

thanks for your libary, I use it to monitor some backups using my icinga2 plugin (nagios clone). May I ask you to merge my changes? I used the default python logging instead of these 'print' messages, which could be seen by a developer but not by the user.
