I am planning on Using an Arduino Pro Mini board for this project to attain different Light settings. I am not very sure if this will be an efficient approach in terms of power consumption. The battery may drain faster. I plan to use pulse width modulation to attain the different levels of brightness. Am I going in the right direction? Under constraints, it mentions that we need to use only One PCB. Does that mean that if I use an Arduino board it will have to be mounted on the PCB with other circuit components? The blinking may be achieved using the delay () fn as the time is 1/freq.Not very sure.

An Arduino would have to be mounted to the PCB using a female socket.
