Amazon addon plays trailer for purchased movie instead of the movie itself #188

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Purchase movie
2. Select movie in XBMC through Amazon plugin
3. Trailer is shown instead of movie (on some movies only)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Full movie should play, not trailer

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
XBMC-PVR 11.0 git (latest) from pulse-eight; Amazon addon 0.6.4

Please provide any additional information below.
My wife purchased a movie she wants to see on our Amazon account, but in XBMC,
it only plays the trailer for the movie. If we go to the Amazon site in a web
browser, however, it will play the full movie. It's only happening with this
one movie. All other movies we've purchased play normally. Any help would be
appreciated, since the web browser/Flash player method plays so choppy, it's
painful to watch.

I apologize, I forgot to mention that this is on Linux Mint 13 Mate 64-bit (if
that matters).

I have run into this as well. Can you post your log? I'd like to see if
you're getting the same error back from the amazon server.

Here is the error I'm seeing:

I've hit this issue as well. My error is the same as jason's. I'm on 0.64
running in xbmc 3.0 (2.95.5).

I've encountered this on both devices (an Atom 330 with NVidia and my raspberry
pi) both running the same openelec xbmc build.

Mine is slightly different. When I try to play any video, I get an error saying
it could not play the trailer. Here is the snippet from the log:

Well, this issue has apparently righted itself. I can now view all of my
purchased and rented movies. Not sure if this was from Amazon's end, or due to
a recent update to the addon, but we're happy now!
