Modify Dataset & Project Submission Forms

These are all suggestions / recommendations. Remove if not helpful.

Award Numbers

[ ] Allow NSF Award auto-fill to create additional personnel (?)
[ ] Add text field to add ORCid number for each submitter / personnel / authors
[ ] Verify if the Submitter is the main Award Holder Yes / No
[ ] The Name field searches the database and auto-populates just the first and last name. Can it also auto-populate the institution? How about the ORCid, too, if it's already in the database linked to that person's name? (potential way to avoid duplicates and variants)

[ ] Change free text field to some type of search field / dropdown search menu for existing Keywords
[ ] Make GMCD Keyword dropdown menu searchable (like GCMD Platform field on project form)

[ ] Put a notice nearby or on free text field for DOI input that says something like "do not include www . or https:// "

[ ] Change textbox prompt from "Other comments relevant for data submission:" to something along the lines of: "Additional Comments for USAP-DC Curator regarding this project or associated datasets:"
[ ] On Dataset form, please move the "Other comments relevant for data submission" free text form to the bottom of the form above the submission button , and update the prompt
