I'm having the same problem with the Windows version. It will look like it's extracting (recording) but when the file is opened there is only about 2 to 5 seconds of audio and the file is very large and when opened in Audacity it is the full running time of the file with only a few seconds of audio.

Hi Folks.

I've had problems extracting sound from .MOV and .AVI files. Hardly ever works without a lot of trial and error and a lot of wasted time.

I find the best way to extract sound on both Mac (Sierra 10.12.6) and PC (Windows 10) is by taking your footage or MOV or AVI and export a TIFF sequence out of it.

I'm finding it's working on the PC better than the Mac with this software.

Since I started doing this I haven't had any problems.
