AEO-Light fails at launch with the message:

Could not find version 8.1 of the MCR Please install the correct version of the MCR

OS: Windows 7

sjohnson-imi commented 7 years ago

That error message indicates that the looking for MATLAB. AEO-Light 1 relied on MATLAB for most of the computations, but AEO-Light 2 does not use Matlab -- all the the calculations are done in C++ and OpenGL.

If you're getting this message under AEO-Light 2 at launch, it could be that the old version of aeo-light.exe is being executed instead: try removing the all previous versions of AEO-light from your computer.
