Feature Request: Image processing - flip image horizontal #43

First of all, can I just say that I love this software and have been able to pretty consistently get great results from it and am very thankful that you have decided to make this open source.

One small feature that might improve workflows for some people is the ability to flip the image horizontally. When a piece of film is scanned containing a stereo soundtrack, but scanned so the image is in the viewable "projected" orientation, the left and right tracks are in the opposite position to what AEO-Light expects. That is, with the right track on the outboard or sprocket hole side. I'm not sure what image handling library this uses and how easy this would be to implement but just something I thought might be worth considering for a future release. Obviously flipping either the source material before export or switching the stereo tracks later is fairly trivial but I just thought it might be worth having.

To optionally switch the channels while encoding would be easy to implement.

I had a 35mm Film that was flopped and was able to just slide the soundtrack markers to the left side of the film and it worked fine.   Russell     -----Original Message----- From: usc-imi/aeo-light Sent: Oct 10, 2021 3:03 AM To: usc-imi/aeo-light Cc: Subscribed Subject: [usc-imi/aeo-light] Feature Request: Image processing - flip image horizontal (#43)     First of all, can I just say that I love this software and have been able to pretty consistently get great results from it and am very thankful that you have decided to make this open source.
