README update for sf1 download #20

README.md was missing steps for SF1 download; added those in. Added .gitignores to avoid some unnecessary mkdirs. Added Python .gitignore lines to main .gitignore.

Some of the layouts needed were missing due to .gitignore doing exactly what I told it to do. Have added those back in as well.
