If the subaward amount (obligation) has changed from the last reporting period, ensure that a Reason exists. Within the Input Template, the Reason field is on the Awards > 50000 sheet, column X (Change_Reason__c). Note: That name is named up and will likely change once Treasury adds it to the bulk upload templates.

The triggering field is also on the Awards > 50000, column H (Award_Amount__c).

Reason Code was added to the Input Template, but there is no validation (during upload) to ensure it's enforced. So we either leave this open or create a new issue.

per 2/5 discussion w Joe - we know that Treasury needs to know reason if subaward changed from previous period. But we don't know if reason code is on the output file. Joe will confirm which will inform whether this can be added to the audit report vs. must be on upload validation.

follow-up convo needed after to discuss implications of adding upload validation that checks against prior periods as this would be new behavior.
