Participation Spectrum fuses research from the International Association of Public Participation and research on administrative burden that came from Georgetown University.
The Participation Spectrum is a tool designed to guide USDS teams in adopting participatory processes and the integrity of that participation. It can also (eventually) be used with community stakeholders as an evaluative tool of their participation in the project.
The Equity Delivery team needs to ensure that the guides are plain language and accessible for both internal and external audiences to accommodate use in for USDS teams and in conjunction with agency partners.
Acceptance Criteria
[] Current and guide should be reviewed for plain language, formatting and readability, with recommendations/line edits provided to bring the guide to a wider audience.

[] Any outputs should include formatting to meet minimal accessibility compliance in Slack and Github.
The initial design of the tool and the guide have been evaluated by USDS teams. This is working on content that has been through a few iterations.
