Display menu icons on startup/home page without opening request #3499

I have checked the following:

Describe the feature you want to add

Could we display the top-level menu items without needing to open a request (Developer Mode, Branch, History, Runner, Variables, Collection Settings, Global Environments, Collection Environment)?

Although most of these would not be relevant as they are collection-level settings, having the ability to see environments and the branch/Git UI can be helpful.

I often want to check and/or changed my environment variables before opening a specific request. The same goes for branch/GIT UI. As of know it is an extra step to be forces to open a request to get access to these icons. Easier for the user to get an overview of was is possible to do in the GUI if all icons are displayed from the start.
