Facebook plugin doesn't work on Miranda IM #116

Facebook Protocol v0.1.3.10

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Facebook Protocol v0.1.3.10
Miranda IM v0.9.28

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log-in with Facebook Protocol

What is the expected output?
Expecting to be logged-in.

What do you see instead?
Message saying "Something happened to Facebook. Maybe there was some major 
update so you should wait for an update."

Please provide any additional information below.
Facebook obviously had some major upgrades/modifications within the past hour.

Same error also here. But my gf has the same setup as i and she can chat 
allright. I assume that is because she has a local language (slovak), but i 
have the fcb in english. it may be the time delay in adding new functions in 
"non-global" languages. In the end new fcb "features" made this plugin not 
working.

Hmmm, I hope it can be fixed somehow then...
Local how does that work? She can only communicate with people in Slovakia? 

Because I have Swedish configuration but still have the same problem...

Nope i meant, Slovak nation is "smaller", thus probably the translations and 
testing in slovak enviroment takes longer as in languages of "bigger" nations. 
Historically it was the same every fcb update, the new functions arrived a few 
days/even weeks after updates in english (cant comapre to other languages). but 
this is OT :).

Same error here.  Got it yesterday morning when I first fired Miranda up.
Miranda IM: 0.9.30
Facebook.dll Facebook Protocol: 0.1.3.10
Logfile: Attached the .txt one (no other ones created).  Also installed the 
"Crash Dumper" plugin, but it never generated output either.

Note: In order for Facebook Logging to occur on Windows 7 64, I had to allow 
'Write' to 'Users' to the Miranda install directory.  Without that explicit 
permission grant, log creation did not occur.

I got the same problem but found a plugin that works! :-)
It´s the Facebook-Protocol from Robyer and he added it yesterday.

Download the attached file ... extract ... copy to your "Icons" and "Plugins" 
folder.

Please let me know if it also works on your system!?!

Yes it does connect to facebook and also seems to work, but miranda sometimes 
gives me a crahsreport (after installing fm rm 0.4.3)

I have the same problem. fm rm 0.4.3 - aftrer click on "send message" crashed. 
And this plugin dont connect...

I had the same issue with Facebook plugin. Has it got anything to do with the 
new Facebook 'timeline' change? (in the much hyped F8 conference?)
It works now after installing Robyer's version.

Well you are only one (known) with that problem and 'description' of your 
problem is useless.

If you wanna help, you should better describe your problem and post it (with

HOTFIX of official plugin tonight (approx. around 8PM GMT/10PM CET).
