There has been a discussion about this already. As Facebook officially doesn't 
support 
statuses like Away etc., plus the Idle status is uncontrollable, means you 
can't set 
it when you want/need, marking them as Away would be counter-productive, plus 
there is 
an Idle mark available in Miranda.

what do you think of an extra icon instead? like you have with the 
birthdayplugin or
the client?

maybe also a possibility to prevent inactive for myself by calling different fb 
sides?

Extra icons should have some purpose :)

That is exactly how I try to get rid of self-idle at this moment, requesting 
for a 
home page periodically, but I'm not sure whether it has some effect :/ Maybe 
the 
period is too long or it requires a more complicated solution.

Well, I came up with this question because I noticed that when you use Jabber to
connect to @chat.facebook.com, it does mark the idle people with an away icon, 
and
here it doesn't. I didn't know it was THAT impossible.

I think that idle display is job of the clist, not the facebook plugin itsself..

I mean, I also want an idle icon for ICQ contacts, so lets implement that in 
ICQ, and
MSN, and Jabber, and YAHOO, and AIM, and Gadu-Gadu...

I'm not gonna argue you. I'm just sure it's not done by CList, as I've checked 
the
status both in the messenger and in the FB chat at the same time, and it was 
the same
and changed at the same time. If you don't want to implement the feature just 
because
you can't or don't want to, that's your right. After all it is your plugin. Just
don't claim it is impossible, because I've seen it's done.

1)I am not the developer of the plugin, it is n3weRm0re.ewer, and he never said 
its
impossible, just counter-productive.

2) The option I am talking about is called "Dim idle contacts", the location 
depends
on your clist plugin.
