However when I zoom into Wisconsin, it almost seems that upstream segments are lighter blue than downstream segments being darker blue meaning upstream segments are warmer than downstream segments – I would’ve thought that some of those large river downstream segments would be warmer but maybe because they are larger bodies of water during this season, they are a bit colder"

Steve would like to know the specific segments that Jana was asking about. He wondered if the center of the color ramp being lightest gray with similar colors on either side would confuse people about temperatures? Jen Bruce reminded us that we were trying to give a general impression of the temperature with the ramp.

Without knowing exactly which streams she meant, Steve could not comment.
