I checked the alignment in leaflet, and it seems to be okay.
The problem is that the liquefaction input files (and some of the landslide ones) extend offshore with no distinction between land and water and the slope file currently being used for trimming off the water is coarse so it results in some on-land areas being trimmed and some water areas remaining. I am going to change that current method of masking off the water to instead use a higher resolution polygon of the landmasses of the world.
