We rely on this package and cannot install it anymore because of this issue. @ennsk any chance that this can be resolved soon?
@joeledvina @abfleishman So sorry for the delay! Our up-to-date package is now hosted on gitlab. Please follow this link to install the updated package. https://code.usgs.gov/fort/nabat/nabatr We are currently working to fix issues and improve functionality. Please feel free to submit an issue ticket under the nabatr gitlab page and I will respond as promptly as possible. The current version has the rgdal and maptools dependencies fixed. I am working to create some documentation to direct users to the new site to avoid further confusion.
@htdavis-usgs Thank you for the update. I just tried to submit an issue, but I could not because I do not have a USGS log in. Please advise on how to report bugs/issues without being a USGS employee or contractor.
Thanks! Abram
@abfleishman Hey Abram, I am working to set up an issue ticketing system for non-usgs employees. In the meantime, feel free to email me with any issues you know of and i'll make an issue ticket for it! htdavis@usgs.gov
Installation of nabatr in the most up-to-date, stable version of R fails because the rgdal and maptools packages cannot be installed from CRAN. More information about the retirement of these packages is available at https://r-spatial.org/r/2022/04/12/evolution.html
