Enhancement: Disable or completely Dim MBP screen when lid closed as Preference #22

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would like to have the option to completely turn off the display while the 
lid is closed, with or without an external LCD attached. There are any number 
of reasons for this... compiling, rendering, wireless transfer on the go...  

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.3.0, OSX 10.6.8

Right now, the screen already should turn off.

How do you check the functionality of built-in display with the lid closed?

Or you'r talking about an external display only?
