All moderation is one-at-a-time under the current design, which could mean lots of work if the system is under attack. With checkboxes (similar to the export/print feature), moderators could be able to apply the same action to many selected contributions (if that action is available to all of them). This would apply to the moderator stream as well as the user contributions and record pages.
