More options for account profiles

In order to make the catalog more social, we've often talked about having more of a profile page for user accounts. This could involve at least a short bio, avatar/profile pic, and links to personal web site/other social media profiles. We could even let people list things like age, location, job, gender, etc. Favorite topic in history? Favorite record group? This is more of an open-ended issue to discuss these ideas.
