As the API does not currently have any My Lists functionality built in, there are several things we could add:
GET actions to query members public lists. The easiest and most flexible way would be for list ID to be a valid search parameter. With no other parameters, you just list all the items, but you can also use field parameters and resultFields to manipulate the results set (and add export parameters to export the list).
Ability to update/delete members of your lists while logged in (PUT/DELETE)
And: ability to query list metadata (list name, creator's username, creation date, etc.) and create/rename/delete lists while logged in.
Integrating lists with the API would allow, for example, custom lists to be used for tagging/transcribing missions in apps.
