Not seeing a way to delete a guide, am I missing something?

This is a good question and something I thought about recently too. I think we should add simple UI to be able to delete a guide from within the editor. Maybe this is added to the sticky footer menu? We also already have a modal style for a warning that I think we should use to warn users that once they delete a guide, it's gone.

Modal: https://invis.io/5RZ67H5W9DK

@SpenceJMNelson Can you please create a comp for this new UI?

@danielboggs Please use this language in the modal:

This cannot be undone Delete Guide (if possible, add the title of the guide they're in) Once you delete a guide, it will be deleted forever. Are you sure you want to delete this guide? Cancel | Delete

@lizzycederberg @lfrancis @danielboggs suggest adding a trash can icon to the items in sticky footer (and within ellipses menu on mobile) that summons the modal described in comment

Looks good to me!

@lizzycederberg @lfrancis this is now in place for desktop users. Still pending the nav overhaul for Mobile.

@danielboggs looks good. Please add a question mark at the end of "Are you sure you want to delete this guide"
