For disaster related events: input is in terms of loss-reduction per disaster. The code then estimates the total losses from this value without putting it into a specific cash flow. This uses the return rate input value.
Fatalities Averted: We’ve already discussed this but this value is treated as a separate Non-Monetary BCN that then has a multiplier (value of statistical life) that converts it to a dollar value. This multiplier has to be outside a specific BCN for simulation purposes.
Return on investment calculation: E3 currently doesn’t have this
BCNs: Has both a BCN name and a description field for detailed notes on the BCN. E3 only has the name at this point.
