OK I am embarrassed it took me a while to figure what's going on here, but I think I didn't communicate in full detail how to move the files with git
, not copy them. We will need to have a follow-on discussion after review, @Arminta-Jenkins-NIST.
I was unable to use git to copy the files even after changing the file location of my local repository. (I changed directories from 'My Documents' to 'C:\users\'). I repeatedly got an error pertaining to lack of permissions and resorted to coping the files by hand. @aj-stein-nist

Yeah, I think doing that is also going to make your work more complicated. We must use the git mv
command to move files. Sometimes the manual approach you describe could work, but this time it did not and I assume the issues you describe had something to do with it. I'm sure we'll talk today about it.
@Arminta-Jenkins-NIST per our discussion and how you want me to help out, I'd recommend closing this in favor of https://github.com/usnistgov/OSCAL-Pages/pull/38. I will meet you over there.
@aj-stein-nist, I'm not sure if I opened this pull request correctly.
