Start date on Available Sensors page not working

I click on VA Beach sensor. Sensor Info dialogue box shows (among other things):

Available Data Start: 2014-07-31 08:20:21 EDT Available Data End:2015-02-10 08:47:40 EST Available acquisition count: 13403

I click on the Start Date dialogue box and choose Nov 1, and it automatically resets to July 31.

the map page is being completely re-written.

Please retest against the current version - I made some changes and fixed a few bugs.
