I now think the UI should be handled differently. All work should be kept on the conformance tool display. There should be a way to sign in as admin (can be done in Toolkit configuration and System configurations already). Once in as admin a new section is displayed above Orchestration that contains the self test controls. This should include status showing whether RAD content is available.
The conformance tool needs a "self test" which would operate as follows.
Inside the admin tool would be a button labeled something like "Conformance Tool Self Test". It would trigger the running of all conformance tests against a simulator. At the end the conformance tool home page would be displayed to show what was accomplished. Obviously if any red shows then a problem exists.
There is a special case for radiology tests. They depend on a special images section of the external cache to be separately installed. If this content is not installed then the radiology tests are not run and those remain white in the conformance tool home page.
This process will take some time and a warning about that should be displayed at some point.
There needs to be a way to easily delete the test results from this self test. I think that a pre-programmed test session should be used - say something named "selftest". After completion this content should not be deleted but instead a message displayed telling the user that to clean up after this self test simply delete the selftest test session.
