What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. $ wget http://www.pixeltoaster.com/downloads/PixelToaster-1.3.1.zip
2. $ unzip PixelToaster-1.3.1.zip
3. $ make -f makefile.unix
4. $ sudo make -f makefile.unix install

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Lact of PixelToaster-1.2.pc during stage 4.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
PixelToaster-1.3.1; Debian GNU/Linux testing Etch 4.0

Please provide any additional information below.
I have a patch fixing this :-)

sorry for the delay in fixing, 1.4 release is out and it doesnt have this
