I noticed something interesting in a test document this morning around how comments in documents are showing up in Pilot (see attached).
This feature was not available in our last platform and we generally considered comments as internal/working information that did not come across to our public wiki. That said – I think there are some interesting use cases this provides for and would not necessarily recommend removing – we will just need to make sure we are aware. It might be a nice thing to offer as a feature flag, i.e. “display Google comments in Pilot – ON/OFF”.
That said, as long as it does exist – I would expect the behavior to be an anchor tag that would take you to the comments listed at the bottom, but right now it just opens the same page in a new tab:
