We can get Keil from here, but it requires a lot of information. Is there any alternative? Should we switch to CodeWarrior as well?
For the moment, I think it would be best to stick with Keil. I've asked Valvano & Bard if they will be eventually switching one way or another, but at this time they don't know.
FWIW, Keil is owned by ARM, which means it supports more devices and can be used to program many other ICs than others IDEs.
You can get Keil Software from here from the Launchpad page.
TI is no longer packaging Keil anymore...
We could get it from here, but it requires quite a bit of info.
To make it easier for Raslets to download and use Keil, it might be a good idea to put it on our website with a non-public link. The license declares the customer to be "a single individual or single legal entity" and it goes on to state in the "Permited User" section that the allowed users include employees and sub-contractors. So as long as we don't distribute to potential users outside of RAS no one should care.
@geky are the links that @cmonr provided not sufficient for getting Keil? What are the problems with TI not packaging Keil?
Does anyone know how to get Keil now? It seems TI is pushing for CodeWarrior on the Launchpads and don't have to eval version available for it. We could still download it through the LMS3811 links but that would be a bit weird...
