The indicated walls are not opposing the ball clamping torque from the motor, if anything the bending moment would force them apart, not push them together. They're maintaining the distance between rails. They're pushed together with those 3 45mm long M3 spacers. For that they should be more than sufficient. My worry would be more about the 1mm side walls, but as they're working on tension, they should be sufficient as well
The current walls for the thrower are 2mm in thickness. Wont they bend when throwing due to the torque applied by the motor?
