Voltage regulators have EN pins incorrectly connected #40

  1. NCP164: image \ Capacitor (C1) must be connected to IN and GND pins. EN pin must be connected to IN pin to enable the regulator. \ From NCP164 datasheet: EN - Chip enable: Applying VEN < 0.2 V disables the regulator, Pulling VEN > 0.7 V enables the LDO

  2. NCV8730 image \ Capacitor (C27) must be connected to IN and GND pins. EN pin must be connected to IN pin or left unconnected to enable the regulator. Connecting EN pin to IN pin is recommended for compatibility with other regulators. \ From NCV8730 datasheet: EN - Enable input pin (high − enabled, low − disabled). If this pin is connected to IN pin or if it is left unconnected (pull−up resistor is not required) the device is enabled.
