fix #47

Address #47 by:

• allowing the old column block to be transformed to the new column block
• automatically transforming old column blocks to new ones when their parent is similarly transformed (from old columns block to new columns block)

Can we move this to https://github.com/utkwdn/utksds-plugin/ rather than https://github.com/MichaelAllenWarner/utksds-plugin

You should have branch access now. But I went ahead and tested this, and it should work.
