"The goal behind this pattern is to test potential use cases for the home page as much as anything — we were just doing it here as well as a good spot to test. The goal of this pattern is to provide additional photography for a landing page like our current home page (or in this case student life) to give a sense of place for folks visiting the site, but also keep the content from being buried on mobile. Our current home page has an example of what we are doing here. Another example is our Engineering Vols landing page as well: https://tickle.utk.edu/engineering-vols/."
