I want to store the Virtual Machine and/or Virtual Disk Drive and a partition on an external SSD drive.
and graphical install for ParrotOs not working on UTM
Configuration
UTM Version: 4.1.6 (75)
VM OS kali-2024.2-installer-arm64.iso
macOS Version: Ventura 13.2.1
Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): M2
I did not see any setting option that would allow me to allocate the virtual disk drive into an external SSD, not in the UTM virtual machine settings nor the installation menu.
After creating a user and password through the graphical install option in the boot menu, I partitioned the drive through all the default options.
I installed all the Operating system correctly and chose which packages to install it rebooted and gave me the install and graphical install menu again. not the login menu. I proceeded with the same steps again to find out at the OS and Package installation steps I got an error saying it couldn't complete this process and I had to delete everything and restart over.
Debug log
I looked inside the package contents inside ~/Applications/UTM/Package\ Contents/ I couldn't find anything related to the vm. I proceeded to delete everything and reinstall UTM again.
