Integrate with winapps to add an equivalent of Coherence Mode to UTM #5593

Parallels' biggest advantage over UTM is it's coherence mode, which allows macOS programs to behave as if they were native software. Source code for a branch with macOS support is here: https://github.com/winapps-org/winapps/tree/legacy-macos , with a rewrite beginning better performance being at https://github.com/winapps-org/winapps/tree/rewrite (Linux only) with the main branch without Linux support being here: https://github.com/winapps-org/winapps

Does anyone here own a copy of Parallels? I would like to see a comparison of performance between this and coherence mode, as well as the macOS programs mirrored to Windows as there is no footage of that.

What a great idea! I would also love to see a better integration of Windows apps in iPadOS at some point in the future...

I'm sure that adding support for Windows apps for this sort of native-appearing feature would be the highest priority (as well as perhaps the smoothest possible road given the work winapps has done) but wanted to add my 2¢ that this would also be very useful for running Classic Mac OS apps (as Classic Mode used to do). Currently, it's strangely a lot easier to run vintage Windows software on macOS than it is vintage Mac OS software, but there's a lot of useful stuff we left behind in the Classic era that certainly has some use today, like older productivity software (e.g., WordPerfect) or games that never made their way to OS X, let alone the 64-bit jump. Being able to assign WordPerfect running in UTM, for example, as the default app in macOS to open .wpd files would be fantastic, as would the ability for just that app's windows to open and its icon to appear on the macOS Dock. I have no idea w/r/t feasibility (though OS9VNC does function on 9.2.1 so perhaps there is some analogizing to the Windows Remote Desktop work winapps has done), but I wanted to note for the record that there would be interest and a use case.
