Mouse wont move

Describe the issue When i start kali linux i cant move the mouse it stays locked in the Middle i dont have a mouse connected

Configuration (required)

• UTM Version:
• OS Version: 17.6.1
• Device Model: ipad 9 generation
• Is it jailbroken (name jailbreak used)? No
• How did you install UTM? I installed utm se in the app store

I thought it was visible like it is on macOS. Sorry for that. Hope than somebody can help you

I am having the same issue with the following configuration:

• UTM Version: v4.5.4 installed via Homebrew
• macOS Version: 15.1 Beta (24B5055e)
• Mac Chip: M1 (MacBook Pro 2021, 32 GB RAM)
• VM: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (x86_64)

The cursor only moves while I click any button on the mouse. The behaviour is the same when I use the builtin trackpad, here I have to click the trackpad to make the cursor move. Also it's no difference whether I capture the mouse or not.

I also have an Ubuntu 20.04 arm64 VM. The cursor in this VM behaves fine!

May be unrelated but I also experience weird behaviour of my mouse cursor outside VMs on my Mac since a few weeks ago. Here the cursor doesn't seem to hover correctly over buttons etc. like the window lost focus or something. Googling this shows that a lot of people suffer from this and that it may be a bug in macOS since version 14.

Interesting: I used my MacBook on the go without my Bluetooth mouse connected and all the issues, the ones in macOS itself and the ones in the UTM VM were gone!

@lavaman2911 Can you confirm that?
