Teams must be configured manually #16

Letsfix contributors are organized around teams. See this explanation for more info.

For security reasons, Github doesn't allow users to reconfigure their own teams. So post here when you'd like to be added or removed from a team. :smile:

@iangilman I added you to citizens, ambassadors, & wizards.... you've already been doing such a great job in those areas so far

On second thought, it might not be asking too much to expect newcomers to post in an unfamiliar forum like this. Especially if they don't have much past interaction with anyone involved.

I suspect most people would be more comfortable sending an email. And all the moreso if they're unfamiliar with GitHub. Instead of linking here, it could be to something like mailto:contribute@letsfix.net.

I don't love that that takes away a bit of transparency, but we probably don't need to be radical about it, and run into some of the same problems faced by @Gittip.

Yes, a certain amount of barrier to entry actually helps increase engagement.
