@kyzer-davis Putting up a PR here to share some feedback. Let me know how much, if any, of this you'd like me to turn into change request issues. The highlights...

Misc. grammar, terminology, and phrasing nit-pickery
Remove references to "clock sequence" in v7 and v8. ("clock sequence" and "counter" are very different things. See my comment below)
Consider renaming "node" field in v7/v8 to "entropy"?
Consider not presenting v8 in such timestamp-specific terms. It should be presented as an open-ended format that is entirely agnostic about what information may be encoded in the non-version / non-variant bits.

I believe you are looking at a slightly out of date draft 03... The most recent draft 03 does not have that TOC you are working on. https://github.com/uuid6/uuid6-ietf-draft/blob/master/draft-peabody-dispatch-new-uuid-format-03.txt
