Image editing on preview pages #3

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Image editing should be identical on My Image and Previews pages. Same
behavior, same looks. Edited images should be available for use in
templates immediately.

1. Fancybox positioning
2. Progress indicator withing fancybox is not centered
3. Show uploaded image in the Lib tab and select it
4. Cancel uploading button/link
5. Document the temp. include.
6. Document interfacing between HTML and JS so that we can insert all necessary
calls
in the HTML.

Looks like it works and can be discarded.
Check 1-3. We'll ignore 4-6.

Procedure is similar to uploading procedure currently on "My images" page
(uploading.png)

Tested it here:
http://realestate.zetaprints.com/?page=template;TemplateID=D13AAB30-2E26-43A3-84
CE-12A7424CE95C

1. After uploading is done, I clicked "Regenerate preview" and got a refresh
template
preview without the uploaded image inside. This means that the image is
uploaded but
not used.
2. After uploading is done, the image is not added to "My images" library.

Suggestions:
3.After uploading is done, the input field should be blank, currently it leaves
the
last file destination in there.
4. After uploading is done, the tabs should be changed to "My images" tab as the
active one with the uploaded file selected.

We need to set a warning or delay the preview generation.
Ex.
Go to this template:
http://realestate.zetaprints.com/?page=template-summary;TemplateID=3F3CBD89-D183
-41E3-AD82-5E533E33E448
Upload a image and hit "Update preview" before it is finished uploading
The upload is canceled and the preview is generated with a "blank" setting for
the
image field.

Possible solutions (pick one or suggest another):
1. We add a message that shows up under the upload status (Please wait for
upload to
finish before updating the preview!)
2. We add the same message that comes up only if a user clicks "Update preview"
before uploading is finished
2. We delay the preview generation until the file is uploaded, so even if they
do
click on "Update preview" while uploading, the generation is queued and
activated
after uploading is done.
