Unregistered user image upload #8

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Enable unregistered users to upload files by POST type request to page=img-
new

Original issue reported on code.google.com by k.safro...@gmail.com on 26 Mar 2010 at 10:36

A new user is created when an image is uploaded.
Same ?page=... as before.

User image library is present and hidden for users that have no images in the
library. There is also a dummy TD, if you need it.

Scripts for testing must appear under the same domain as the website. Copy them
to
dev folder and remove any references to your own dev server.

Don't really understand the testing process in this issue. Please let me know
if it's
not for me to test.

I went ahead and tested it anyway on realestate (not logged in). Found this
problem:

1. Uploaded an image and got the "blank" and my image check-boxes checked
(anonymous_image_upload_01.png). Clicked "Update preview" and got the image
field
blank (as if I selected "leave blank").

2. Uploaded a second image and got the previous and new one selected
(anonymous_image_upload_02.png).

Testing procedure you performed is correct one. Upload image as unregistered
user and
check if everything works fine.
Issue fixed

Only the first image ends up in the user's library. All the other images create
a new
user if no user ID is supplied.
We need queue them, get user id and then submit the rest.

Try it on a template with more than one image.

Tested it on multpage/multi image templates. Try it here:
http://realestate.zetaprints.com/?page=template-preview;TemplateID=52A69EA2-3FF8
-4EC8-A8F0-4AB0F2197F86

Images get added to the library, they stay in there when personalizing other
templates. Can be uploaded at the same time.
