Possibility to get enable fingerprint on unsupported device #153

Hello, I want to ask about configure this program to my system. I use Thinkpad X280 and it have fingerprint module. It module is Bus 001 Device 004: ID 06cb:009a Synaptics, Inc. Metallica MIS Touch Fingerprint Reader. My distro is Ubuntu 22.10. My question is :

  1. What this module can run smoothly in my devices (this fingerprint listed not supported in fprintd) ?
  2. What this module is safe to use?
