Mana Burn

Priests Mana Burn spell should break fear/root effects.
Steps:
1. Create a priest (possibly get some spell haste rating).
2. Cast psychic scream.
3. Cast mana burn multiple times.
Whats the output?
Mana burn is not breaking fear, which it should do due to the damage done by 
mana burn..
This is kind of gamebreaking in PvP. If you have a lot of haste u could burn 
like 60% of your opponents mana in one fear.

burning mana seems to not count as damage and therefore does not break fear

Well, it actually does damage equal half the mana burned.
