Validate 53X PAT tuple #4

First step - how do we decide it's good?

tsarangi commented 12 years ago

I can test a couple of datasets, one from MC, other from data, compare with the same from 52x ?

ekfriis commented 12 years ago

Hi Tapas, that sounds like a good plan. Perhaps we can ask Austin & Josh each for a preferred MC sample and they can compare?

Evan,

One thing to make sure that the sample(s) we are testing with 53x also exist in 52x. Just not to rerun. It will be better to have a sample where one can check all the components such electrons, muons, jets and missing-ET.

Josh, Austin,

Can you give Tapas a good MC sample for producing a test 53X PAT tuple. Preferably one that has a 52X equivalent. Josh, maybe one of the x-check samples would be good.

Have you had a chance to look at these yet?

Josh, Austin,

Can you give Tapas a good MC sample for producing a test 53X PAT tuple. Preferably one that has a 52X equivalent. Josh, maybe one of the x-check samples would be good.

Evan,

One thing to make sure that the sample(s) we are testing with 53x also exist in 52x. Just not to rerun. It will be better to have a sample where one can check all the components such electrons, muons, jets and missing-ET.

Hi Tapas, that sounds like a good plan. Perhaps we can ask Austin & Josh each for a preferred MC sample and they can compare?

I can test a couple of datasets, one from MC, other from data, compare with the same from 52x ?

Josh has successfully cross checked with it in H2Tau group. Closing.
